INFORMATION: Smaller than most of the Dermians, Sting Ray has the physical appearance of a giant bee. Although, he's not an insect. He's actually an alien that was sent to Earth to destroy it. Upon coming to Earth, he quickly learned that his "queen" didn't have to order him around because on Earth there were different many rulers and many soldiers that he could bend to his will.
Originally a much more advanced fighter than anyone else in the Dermian Defenders or the Triple E's, Sting Ray was planning on taking control of his home planet after becoming ultimate emperor of Earth. His plans were soon foiled however when Vark destroyed his queen. It turns out that Sting Ray's boosted power came from his queen and that he lost it when his queen died. Still with a power stronger than most, Sting Ray refused to quit. After a while, he realized that there was no way he could catch up with any the dermians in way of power and he decided to join the Dermian Defenders and become a soldier again instead.
